IBRA is part of Christian Education and serves the church in five continents to encourage regular Bible reading. We do this by publishing Bible reading schemes and notes and by funding organisations in developing countries through our International Fund.
IBRA's main publications are Light for our Path and Words for Today, each of which provides a whole year of daily Bible readings with comments, reflections and prayers, and questions for further thought or group discussion.
We also have other Bible reading products including Words for Lent and Words for Advent which consist of selected portions of previously published Words for Today readings.
IBRA's extensive network of contracts within the world church ensures that our publications feature contributions from writers of many different backgrounds and cultures, making them uniquely challenging and refreshing.
Each year, IBRA produces a scheme of daily Bible readings which forms the basis for all IBRA's publications. It includes readings from the gospel for that year from the Revised Common Lectionary, readings through different Bible books and on a variety of different themes.
